Soup of the Evening, Beautiful Soup

Last winter, I cooked my way through this book.  One of my favorite recipes is the sweet and sour soup and I made it again this week.

What’s bubbling in your kitchen?

  1. OK, I’m convinced. My go-to soup book for years has been Sally Nirenberg’s From the Night Kitchen but I’m in a bit of a rut — several ruts actually. Thanks for the lead!

  2. Fresh-baked bread. 😀 … Mrs Widds bakes ours every week, and the whole house smells of it. Perfect for a rainy gloomy evening. 🙂
